HISTORY
Pont’a Pé Restaurant is a gastronomic reference in Aljezur and one of the oldest in the village. This century-old house was once an inn and is on the bank of the Aljezur river, which was navigable hundreds of years ago. Working with the current management since 2003, it remains one of the mandatory stopping places for those looking for quality and typically regional cuisine.
Our menu reflects genuine, authentic and passionate cuisine, which explores and highlights the fruits of the land and the sea typical of the region. Our soul combines the influence of Mediterranean cuisine and the oldest food knowledge that come together to give way to true delicacies with a unique and irresistible flavor. Between the octopus with sweet potatoes, the stewed black pork cheeks or the fish and seafood cataplanas, there are many options, not to mention the fresh fish and seafood from the Costa Vicentina, which we present on the menu every day. To finish off your meal in beauty, no one can resist sweet potato desserts, accompanied by a medronho brandy or a ginjinha.
Our restaurant is a pleasant and intimate space with a capacity for 90 seats, divided between the main room, the cellar and the terraces. We are a team of professionals, competent and dedicated, with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
